What is Family Health Cover (Afya Nafuu)?
Afya Nafuu is an affordable, customisable family health insurance plan. It provides inpatient cover in cases of hospitalisation due to accident or illness, with optional outpatient and maternity benefits, and includes cover for pre-existing and chronic diseases (including HIV/AIDS) after 12 months. Members enjoy cashless treatment across a wide panel of hospitals in Kenya. Five core inpatient plans are available: Affluent, Executive, Standard, Select and Mwananchi.

Joining Age
From 1 month up to 75 years (maximum joining age of 75).
Whole Family
Cover for the whole family – from a term baby (38 weeks) to elderly members.
Medical Report
Required only for members aged 55 years and above.
Premiums
Calculated based on each member’s current age.
How to Buy Family Health Cover (Afya Nafuu)?

Complete and sign the Individual Health Application Form with passport photos for each member.

Attach a copy of your ID and KRA PIN, plus a medical report for members aged 55 and above.

Pay the full premium before the commencement of cover (based on age at next birthday).
